Anyone passing No. 28 Topping Street recently will have seen the huge new glazed shopfront going into this iconic building. This is the opening phase of the works to convert all three stories of the building into the Creative Hub, a facility that will allow local makers to sell their products on the high street, to have access to workshop space where they can host workshops and taster sessions for the public. The facility will also include office space and a community darkroom for developing film.
The shopfront should be complete by the end of the first week in May and work has already commenced on the internal fit out . Work is scheduled to be completed by June/July and we’ll keep you updated on progress as we go along!
