Visitors enjoyed a fun-filled day of shopping at Saturday’s Blackpool Creative Market, featuring a range of Fylde Coast-based artists and makers.
On Saturday 23rd October 2021, Blackpool Winter Gardens played host to a range of independent designers, artisans and creatives from across the Fylde Coast.
The first of its kind in Blackpool, the marketplace brought together more than 20 invited artists and makers, giving visitors a chance to purchase unique artworks, homeware, fashion and foodie gifts.
Jessie Crook from Sustainable hair accessory makers That Scrunchie Brand says:
“We can’t wait to be a part of the first Blackpool Creative Market, we have been loving meeting other creatives at markets nearby and it will be extra special to be in the town centre. We hand make scrunchies and are looking forward to meeting new shoppers and showing off our brand new designs.”

Natalie Nicholson runs Seamstressed, a business that produces colourful handmade quirky children’s clothes. She said “It’s great that members of the public are able to support our fabulous local makers and artists at this event. ”
The market was a great chance to browse stalls packed with hundreds of unique gifts, homewares and artworks at prices to suit all pockets. Shoppers got a head start on finding Christmas gifts without having to worry about shipping delays and most importantly they supported the local independent artists and businesses that make Blackpool town centre unique.
